Battery Management System (BMS)
Battery Management System (BMS) design focuses on essential features to ensure optimal performance and safety. elements include overcharge, overdischarge, and overcurrent protection, which align with the existing 3C appliance standards. A short circuit detector is implemented, as traditional overcurrent detection is inadequate for high C-rate batteries. Additionally, a detect delay circuit is necessary to manage voltage drops during high current demand, while maintaining voltage and current accuracy consistent with previous models. The cell balance circuit is enhanced with an MCU for control and measurement, ensuring effective balancing and accuracy, all while maintaining lower consumption current.
